Armorgard Steel Coat is a 100% solids, self-leveling, primerless, odorless epoxy form coating for precast, tilt-up, slip form, & cast-in-place applications. Armorgard Steel Coat is formulated to provide a hard, tough coating for metal concrete forms. Armorgard Steel Coat saves ‘rough’ steel forms from having to be reskinned, producing a hard smooth surface ideal for creating consistent ‘architectural’ quality casts over multiple pours. Armorgard Steel Coat is able protect steel forms from rusting while exposed between pours.

Armorgard Steel Coat has an easy 1 to 1 mix ratio while also provides a convenient work life, rapid tack free time, & better adhesion to steel surfaces than Armorgard 505. Armorgard Steel Coat will not interfere with magnets’ attraction force to the steel form. Armorgard Steel Coat was designed from conception to be the ideal steel form coating.

Armorgard Steel Coat can be easily applied with a roller. Recommended application thickness is 25 to 35 mil (0.64-0.89mm). Application may vary depending on the porosity & roughness of the surface being coated. Applied to horizontal surfaces, maximum application thickness is 1/8” (125 mil or 0.3cm). Armorgard Steel Coat is conveniently packaged in pre-measured 1 & ½ gallon & 4 gallon kits with larger bulk kits available upon request.
